EvolutionIQ Joins CCC Intelligent Solutions

Today, we announced that EvolutionIQ has officially signed an agreement to be acquired by CCC, an incredible company with deep roots in innovation, a strong focus on claims expertise, and a dedication to customer value. This exciting milestone has been in the works for the last few months, and we are thrilled to share our plans with you.  

EvolutionIQ is a mission-driven organization. We’ve spent the last six years building our company dedicated to the idea that when insurance claims work better, people lead better lives. Our mission has been to deliver AI guidance systems to claims professionals in bodily injury and disability lines of insurance, enabling them to partner with claimants on their journeys to recovery and productivity. Because of the contributions of more than 190 dedicated team members at EvolutionIQ, we’ve been able to execute on this mission at scale. We work with many of the world’s leading insurance carriers to enable their skilled, dedicated claims staff to deliver their expertise and positively contribute to the recovery and claims experience of their claimants.

EvolutionIQ’s capabilities are becoming central to the operation and performance of our carrier partners. These insurers are using our guidance systems to make decisions impacting over $10B in claim value annually, spanning millions of claims.  Joining forces with a market leader like CCC will enable us to move and innovate faster, and broaden the impact of our solutions.  

Our customers have always been the central focus of EvolutionIQ. We will continue to operate as we have, under the leadership of Mike and Jonathan, here in New York City. Our focus on customer value, driving innovation through partnerships, and an outsized investment in technology will remain central to our strategy.

What has always made EvolutionIQ special is our team. We have grown to more than 190 professionals, across a wide range of specialties, dedicated to making insurance claims work for all stakeholders—claimants, carriers and policyholders. As a key part of this transaction, there will be no change to the EvolutionIQ team whatsoever. Our leaders and key executives are committed to leading EvolutionIQ for years to come, and our team is only growing. We remain focused on attracting the best talent available to advance our mission and deliver for our customers.

The insurance landscape is evolving, perhaps now faster than ever. Policyholders and claimants are expecting a more dynamic, service-oriented product. At the same time, the complexity of insurance claims and the data they contain is only increasing in both volume and sophistication.
